New Finished Portrait

And this time it's a person! I pretty much like how it turned out but of course I see things after that I wish I did differently. Heh heh. I'll post pictures of this later.

On another note - I am participating in HOLIDAYS at the HAIGHT! An Elgin Holiday market. It runs the next 2, possibly 3, weekends in December. It's at 166 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL 60120.

I will be there on Friday, December 7th from 4-8pm and Friday, December 14th from 4-8pm. This is my first actual craft fair type event. I'm excited and nervous!

The Yorkie Rescue Yard Sale

So, the yard sale went alright. It was a weird venue for my stuff, considering it was a yard sale...but I did hand out a few cards and got a bit of interest from people there. That was all I was really expecting, so yay me! :P

I've got about 4 portraits to do right now and hopefully they will be done soon!

I'm getting my Etsy shop ready for me to start adding my pet portraits up there for sale. And now I've got a bunch of cards and framed work; maybe I'll start getting into some craft shows or something!

So, I've been thinking I really want to devote more time to my crafts, blog, Etsy & Artfire shops, etc. I'm just doing this as a hobby but I'm really enjoying it!

I've started to develop a little more of a schedule. I want to get more into it! :)

I look at all the successful Etsy shops and it makes me want to get more of my stuff out here too - hoping people will enjoy it as much as I do!

New Christmas Magnets!

I have been working on some new christmas magnets! Tomorrow I will hopefully be putting them up on Etsy and Artfire. I love them :) I am happy with how they turned out. The little snowman is my favorite!!

First Etsy Purchase

Just now I purchased my first item on Etsy.com!!

I am so excited. Once I discovered this site I fell in love with it. I love handmade things and finding this site was so inspiring. I would love to sell my own things on this site sometime in the near future!

Back to my purchase...I bought a gray linen covered blank book, made by
lmoss. Gray is my favorite color and I absolutely love books. I am a huge fan of journaling and have been doing so for years. This is another lovely journal to add to my collection. They are things I cherish.

I was just so excited that I had to share!! :)
